MACKARON, AGNES JANE of Albuquerque, passed away, Thursday, January 29, 2015. She is survived by her sister, Bertha Sahd-DeLuca, and her three sons; Richard MacKaron, Phil MacKaron and Dr. Mel MacKaron. Agnes is also survived by her grandchildren; Erissa MacKaron, Nick MacKaron, Russ MacKaron and Geoff MacKaron as well as other loving family members and friends. She was happily married for over 52 years to Philip R. MacKaron who passed in 2000. Agnes was born in Cerrillos and grew up in Taos in a family of Lebanese immigrants. After a career as an Air Force spouse, she retired with Phil to Albuquerque in 1968. Agnes loved family, traveling and giving. A rosary will be recited on Tuesday, February 3, at 7:00 pm at FRENCH - Wyoming, Friends may visit beginning at 6:00 pm prior to the rosary. Mass will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 10:00 am at Prince of Peace Catholic Community, 12500 Carmel Ave. NE. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
