LAHITA, VERONICA Veronica Lahita went to be with Our Lord Sunday, January 18. She is survived by her son John Lahita; one daughter Ronnie Lahita-Calogero and husband Don; nephew, Michael Salata and wife Pauline & family; niece, Rose Salata-Chimento and husband John & family; great-niece, Debbie Garcia and husband Ron & family; great-nephew Wally Salata and family; great-niece Lenore Salata-Kozlowski and family; five grandchildren; six great- grandchildren; and numerous great- great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. A Rosary and Mass will begin Monday, January 26 at 10:00 am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (1502 Sara Rd. SW Rio Rancho). Burial will be at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Chimento, Vinnie Chimento, Tony Chimento, Wally Salata, Walter Salata, Ron Garcia and Victor Garcia.
