DICKSON, BETTE Bette Dickson, aged 91, died peacefully on January 2, 2015 at Pounce de Leon. Bette was born on January 1, 1924 in Payette, Idaho. She was the daughter of Charles and Arthusa Smith. Bette enjoyed swimming, crossword puzzles, cooking, and her dogs. After graduating from high school Bette worked at a bank in Seattle. She later used her book keeping skills at other banks in Glendale and Redlands, California and in Albuquerque. She also worked for Modesta Interior Design and Ace Upholstery in Albuquerque. She married Peter Anders in 1945 in Seattle. They moved to California where Peter died in 1962. She then married John Banker and moved to Albuquerque. After being widowed the fourth time, she returned to Albuquerque in 1988. She moved to Santa Fe in 2011 to be with her son Peter and his wife Kay. Bette attended Hope in the Desert Episcopal Church in Albuquerque and Holy Family Episcopal Church in Santa Fe. She is survived by her son Peter Anders and wife Kay of Santa Fe, NM; John Banker and wife Linda of Corrales, NM; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. There will be a memorial service at Holy Family Episcopal Church, 10 A Bisbee Court, Santa Fe, NM 87508 on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Santa Fe Animal Shelter or Holy Family Episcopal Church.
