ST.CYR, VOORHIES JOSEPH Age 86, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 7, 2014. He was born in Opelousas, LA to the late Luna Ardoin St.Cyr on May 30, 1928. He was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Virginia St.Cyr in 2004. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He was known for his kindness and sense of humor. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. He is survived by sons Alan St.Cyr and Walter St.Cyr and wife Vicky; daughter Christine St.Cyr; son Brian St.Cyr and wife Maribeth; many grandchildren; great-granchildren, relatives and friends. A private service was held in Santa Fe, NM. The family would like to thank the following: The doctors and staff at Lovelace Hospitals, Princeton Place, and Ambercare for their dedication, compassionate care, spiritual support and guidance, Father Young of Queen of Heaven, the staff at Riverside Funeral Home for their exceptional service, Priscilla Hughes for her prayers, help and support. A special thank you to Pat Ferarri for all her years of caring for Voorhies. She is truly an angel sent from Heaven and the family thanks her from the bottom of their hearts.
