TABET, ELVIA K. 1933-2014 Elvia K. Tabet, age 81, a lifelong resident of Belen, NM went to be with our Lord on Thursday, December 18, 2014. She was a proud member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church and also a member of the Catholic Daughters of the America. She graduated from Belen High School and received an award from Governor Edwin Mechem in 1951 for 12 years of perfect attendance. Elvia ran a successful insurance agency with her special brother Ron Tabet. She was preceded in death by her son, Russell Sanchez; parents, Carlos and Theresa Tabet; brothers, Boni and Chico Tabet. Elvia is survived by her loving children: daughter, Angelica and husband, Roger Vallejos; son, Randy and wife, JoAnn Sanchez; granddaughters, Adriana Sanchez and boyfriend, Mike Curry, and Audra Vallejos; grandson, Dominic Sanchez; and brothers, Gilbert and Ron Tabet. She is also survived by her loving nieces, nephews, and friends. All services will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church, on Monday, December 22nd beginning with a Visitation at 12:00 p.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Our family would like to give a special thank you to her caregivers, Linette and Manuel Montoya, and the staff at Romero Funeral Home and Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church.
