MAKARSKI, WILLIAM ANTHONY (BILL) Age 80, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014. He is surviverd by his wife of 60 years, Marcella Makarski; daughter, Elizabeth and husband, Kevin Marohl, and son, William A. Makarski II and wife, Elizabeth; grandchildren, William A. Makarski III and wife, Abby, Andre Makarski and wife, Marisa, Ashley, Nicholas, and Melissa Marohl, and Joseph and Veronica Louviere; great-grandchildren, Annabelle, Ava, Kadence and Regan Makarski and Jayden Louviere; sister, Margaret McAulay of Florida. Mr. Makarski was preceded in death by his daughter, Victoria Ann Makarski. William was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He then entered the Army at the age of 18. Mr. Makarski honorably served in the Army for his country during the Korean Conflict. He was stationed in Albuquerque where he met and married the love of his life, Marcella. One of his greatest achievements was owning and operating his own business for over 30 years. He also enjoyed officiating for NMAA for the majority of his adult life. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and being the life of the party. A Memorial Service will be Friday, December 26, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at FRENCH Lomas.
