SMOCK, LISLE W. Born February 1926, in Pennsylvania, Lisle W. Smock passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2014. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, Leslie, and his son, Ken. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; sisters, Lena Belle Moore and Rosemma Carrier and sister-in-law Grete Gaschler. Lisle is also survived by Ken's daughter, Kyla Pellicani and her husband Robbie; great- granddaughter, Kendyl Pellicani; son, Ron and wife, Linda; grandchildren Sean Smock, Adam Smock and wife, Kayla; and son, Allen and grandchild Kyle Smock. Lisle and Ruth married in 1947 in Pennsylvania and moved to Albuquerque in 1948, where Lisle was hired as one of the first employees at Highland High School as a math teacher. Later, he was the Activities Director until his retirement after 32 years. He "retired" with a new job driving for Hertz. Lisle loved the outdoor life, enjoying hunting and fishing with his family in the mountains of New Mexico, and traveled several times to Europe as chaperone with the Teenage Study Tours. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University.
