THORNBURG, MARY "CONNIE" age 79, was born on September 21, 1935 in Socorro, NM and a great niece of Elfego Baca, and a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2014. Connie is survived by her husband Charles "Pete" Thornburg; sons, Raymond Perez and wife Diane, Greg Perez and wife Tina, Lewis "Clay" McMahan; step children, Cathy, Bambi and Sussie; sister, Teresa Carrillo; brother, Richard Espinoza; fourteen grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends who loved her dearly. She will be sadly missed by many and has left an irreplaceable emptiness in many lives. We the family, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation for the many acts of kindness and sympathy that continue to be a great comfort to us in our time of sorrow.
