TANGEL, GAIL H (LAURIA) Gail, age 78, was born in Maulden, Mass. to Lawrence and Lelia Lauria in 1936 and died in Albuquerque, NM from a long illness on October 4, 2014. She and her husband Frank moved to Albuquerque from Long Island City, NY in 1969. They soon joined the German American club. Gail loved to dance and had many friends and great times there. Gail was an excellent seamstress and made many of her gowns for the frequent balls at the club. She also made many of her husband's suits as well. Gail also made beaded jewelry and ornaments, and bolos for her family and friends. As a talented chief Gail hosted many parties and delighted in serving Italian and German cuisine. Gail was preceded in death by her husband Frank Tangel and her son, Frank Tangel Jr. She is survived by one brother, Don Anderson of Roy, WA; her three sisters, Georgia Anderson, Albuquerque, NM, Denise Grunert, Roy WA, and Deborah White, Tacoma, WA; and many nieces and nephews. Gail was well loved and will be missed by all who knew her. A visitation, Rosary and Mass will be on October 12, beginning at 2:30pm at the Riverside Funeral Home Chapel, 225 San Mateo NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
