PAWIN, OFELIA A. age 61, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 4, 2014 in Albuquerque, NM surrounded by family and friends. She was born December 2, 1953 in Raton, NM. Ofelia was preceded in death by her mother; father; paternal/maternal grandparents; two brothers; one grandson; and two nephews. She is survived by two daughters, Janis Chavez and husband Phillip of Albuquerque and Jamie Gallegos of Raton; four grandchildren, five sisters; twp brothers; two brothers-in-law; one aunt; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff of Solamor Hospice for their wonderful, compassionate care that they provided for Ofelia and her family during the last couple of months of her life. All services will be held at the Riverside Funeral Home of Albuquerque Chapel on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, beginning with visitation at 10:30 AM, followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. Interment of cremains will take place on Tuesday October 14, 2014 at 12:30 PM at Sunset Memorial Garden.
