MANZANARES, JUAN Juan Manzanares went to be with our Lord on Monday, August 25, 2014. He was predeceased by his siblings: Bennie Mares, Rejina Valdez, and Kelino Mares. Juan is survived by his wife of 43 years, Connie J. Manzanares; daughters: Vera Manzanares, Annette Martinez, Bernadette Martinez and fiancee Vance Sanchez, Elaine Santillanes and husband Eric; sisters: Tessie Miera and Mary Martinez; 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Juan's Life Celebration will begin with a Visitation on Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE) followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Life Celebration Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. followed by Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eric Santillanes, Paul Otero, Joseph Otero, David Salazar, Johnny Salazar, and Andrew Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Miera, Silas Montoya, Jimmy Miera, and Richard Barela.
