EICHENBERG, PATRICIA ANN Patricia Ann Eichenberg, born January 30, 1925, was called home on July 14, 2014. Patricia was the daughter of George E. Thompson, Jr. and Mary Annette Koloc and grew up in Cedar Rapids, IA. While attending Coe College, she met Lt. Paul Lawrence Eichenberg and the two were married on October 25, 1944. Paul's Air Force career took them to a number of domestic and international sites with their final transfer to Kirtland Air Force Base in 1952. Albuquerque became their permanent home. Pat was a respected business woman serving greater Albuquerque over 35 years as a Real Estate Broker and owner of Heights Realty. Pat was an avid LOBO fan, a member of the Catholic Daughters of America since 1990, a Board Member of the Brothers of the Good Shepherd Auxiliary and a Board member of Pan-Hellenic representing Alpha Xi Delta. Pat was passionate about New Mexico politics, participating in a number of political campaigns over the years. Pat enjoyed playing cards, especially Bridge, and teaching her children and grandchildren how to play. Pat combined her love of tennis and travel, enjoying Grand Slam Tennis tournaments all over the world. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend who was loved by all who knew her. Patricia was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Sue Eichenberg; her husband, Paul Lawrence Eichenberg; her sister Betty Jane Thompson; brothers Vern Thompson and "Tommy" Thompson, III. Patricia is survived by her children, Sharon M. O'Donnell (Dan); Peter T. Eichenberg (Angelica); Paul C. Eichenberg; P. Michael Eichenberg (Victoria); P. Timothy Eichenberg (Sandra); Susie Carter (Hank); and Sheila King Wright (Dana); as well as 27 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren whom she dearly loved. The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to their mother's caregivers Ruby, Brenda, Jake and Cynthia. We appreciate your selfless love and care you showered on her. A memorial rosary service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 3, 2014 at FRENCH - Lomas. The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. 5:30 p.m. prior to the rosary service. Inurnment will take place on Monday, August 4, 2014, at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
