KILGORE, CAROLE ANN (1938-2014) Passed away peacefully surrounded by her husband, family and friends on Tuesday, April 15, 2014. She is survived by her husband, Donald "Deke" Kilgore; daughter, Yvonne Marrero (David Hammack), her son Kyle Marrero (Jane Marrero); son Kedin Kilgore (Kimberly Kilgore); grandchildren Lily Marrero, Caitlin Kilgore, Dylan Kilgore, Jacob Kilgore and Andrew Kilgore; and her sister Mary Jo Hoover. She was preceded in death by her son Christopher Kilgore. She will be remembered and cherished for her love of family and life, her humor, strength, perseverance, determination and grace, and her endless kindness and generosity. The family will be forever grateful for her nurses Patricia, Aleta, Debbie, Pam and Marie, together with her dear friend and caregiver, Mary, and many of the professionals involved in her care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation or the National Muscular Sclerosis Society. A service in celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
