Angelo Marino Stanco was a proud Navy man who served the U.S. in the Pacific theater during World War II. He was a police officer in Nassau County, New York, for 33 years. He loved a glass of hearty red wine, a chauteaubriand, and a spin on a Harley. He marveled at the success of his children. He carried regret in his heart over some things that had happened that he could not change. His children loved him and will miss him; they will memorialize him at the beach in California this summer. "We love you, Dad. We hope you're doing the Twist with St. Peter and not sitting in the time-out chair. Arrivederci."
