KNIGHT, JEANNE JENSEN Jeanne Jensen Knight, 80, a resident of Albuquerque since 1967, died Saturday, April 5, 2014, after a graceful and valiant eight and a half year battle with ovarian cancer. Jeanne is best remembered for her elegance, intelligence, eloquence, quickness of wit, and love of reading, writing, traveling and cats. Jeanne's family and friends are grateful to the Women's Cancer and Surgical Care doctors, nurses, med techs and office administrators for caring for her and for helping her to travel, to explore and to live as long and as productively as she did. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Gynecological Cancer Awareness Project (www.thegcap.org), 5911 Jefferson St. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
