CORDOVA, ERNIE F. passed away on Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Hewas a hunter, fisherman, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He was born and raised in Reserve, New Mexico. Ernie is now reunited with parents, Ernesto and Carlotta Cordova and five siblings: Laura Ruther, Tina Baca, Zella Baldonado, Stella Quintana and Cathy Cordova. Ernie is survived by five children: Diana Swift, children TJ (and his wife Ashley), Mathew and Weston; Lori Oistad (husband Eric) children Trevor and Olivia; Ernie Cordova (wife Natalie) children Kayla, Ashlynn, Baylee and Maya; Joy Cordova, children Ysias and Elijah; Mikeal, child Zayden; wife Beth; sisters Dolly Baca, Violet Mills, Yolanda Cordova; brother Chris Cordova and a long list of cousins, nieces and nephews. All of his relatives were very dear to him. Do not stand at my grave and weep I am not there. I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow. I am the diamond glints on snow. I am the sunlight on ripened grain. I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning's hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circled flight. I am the soft stars that shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry; I am not there. I did not die. Ernie's spirit will live on forever through all of his family and friends. Services will be at St. Francis Catholic Church in Reserve, NM at 12:00 noon on Saturday, March 29, 2014. A reception will follow in the Community center.
