ARAGON, JOSEPH "JOE" 1926 - 2014 Joseph "Joe" Aragon, age 87, a resident of Belen, NM passed away on Sunday, March 23, 2014. He was a member of Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church where he participated as a Lector and was a homebound Eucharistic Minister. Joe proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He taught at Los Lunas High School for 35 years. Joe taught English, Drama, Speech and Debate. He was also a local car salesman. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 53 years, Beatrice Sanchez Aragon; and parents, Telesfor and Leduvina Aragon. Joe is survived by his loving children, Anna and husband, Richard Espinoza, Kenny Aragon, Robert and wife, Sharon Aragon, Rick Aragon, Lorraine and husband, Andres Silva, Marty and wife, Yvonne Aragon, Susan and husband, Kenny Peter and Darleen Aragon and husband, Reggie Chavez; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one brother, John S. Aragon. A Viewing will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Wednesday, March 26, at 5:00 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m. A Final Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church on Thursday, March 27, at 9:30 a.m. with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with Father Stephen Schultz presiding. Interment will be held at Our Lady of Belen Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Chris Crosby, Dominic and Martin Aragon, Tony and Brendan Wilson and Tim Montoya.
