VAANDRAGER, PHILIP 48, former resident of Albuquerque, NM, died December 21, 2013. Philip Vaandrager took great pride in his work in the music industry, traveling the world as Production Manager/Monitor Engineer for legendary blues guitarist Buddy Guy. He was a superb photographer and often extended his business trips into photographic odysseys of faraway places. He loved his classic VW bug, mountain biking, and exploring the world. He is survived by his mother, Henny Houston, of Dallas, TX; his daughter, Emi Vaandrager, and his wife, Verona Walker of S. Miami Beach, FL; his brother Bas Vaandrager and sister-in-law Carmen Rodriguez of Albuquerque, NM; his sister Annette Vaandrager of New Orleans, LA; and his sister Corinne O'Hara and brother-in-law Mike O'Hara of Albuquerque, NM. He is also survived by his niece Esme Vaandrager; and his three nephews Hendrik Vaandrager, Teo Vaandrager, and Aidan O'Hara. His life will be celebrated on January 25, 2014, at a 2:00 PM service at St. Timothy's Lutheran Church, 211 Jefferson NE, Albuquerque, NM 87108.
