BLACK, HOWARD C. age 89, born in Toledo, OH, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on January 13, 2014. Mr. Black is survived by his beloved wife of fifty-six years, Grace; children, Merlinda Mang and husband, Thomas, David Marquez and wife, Pauline and Ronald Marquez and wife, Julia; grandchildren, Bengy Maestas Jr. and wife, Therese, Richard H. Maestas, T. J. Mang and wife, Melanie, Chris Marquez, Darren Marquez and wife, Cie Cie, and Denny Marquez; ten great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; golfing friend, Martin Kozlowski; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Black was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Marcella; brother, Richard; sisters, Corine and Nancy; and granddaughter, Shanna L. Mang. Mr. Black was a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean Conflict. The entire family would like to give a special thank you to Alliance Home Health Care for the excellent service provided for Howard during his illness and a special thank you to and appreciation to Julia Lujan.
