FELTS, KAROLE ELAINE Karole Felts, resident of Santa Fe, Los Alamos, and Albuquerque, passed away January 14, 2014. Karole was an educator, musician, and music store owner. She was born in Muscatine, IA on September 23, 1937, and has lived in New Mexico since 1961. Karole was preceded in death by her parents, Roy & Wilma Kindler, and her husband, Tex Felts. She is survived by daughter, Keri Brinegar; son-in-law, Michael Brinegar; son, Charles Felts; daughter-in-law, Carrie Felts; granddaughters, Kara and Carina; grandson, Damon; brother, William Kindler; sister-in-law, Susan Kindler; and nieces and nephews. Karole was greatly loved, had a beautiful smile, and an infectious laugh. She will be sorely missed. Karole will be buried in a private service at the National Cemetery in Santa Fe next to Tex. A memorial celebration will be scheduled in several months at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Santa Fe.
