MADRID, ROGER SR. age 69, of Albuquerque, was sent home to the Lord on Saturday, September 21st. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 32 yrs, Nancy. He is survived by his children, Roger Jr. and his wife, Helen; Patrick and his wife, Regina; Lisa and her husband, Carlos; David and his wife, Modette; and Travis; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and his loving partner for the past several years, Patricia Ulibarri. Roger enlisted at age 16 to proudly serve his country in the US Army, he served for a period of seven years and was honorably discharged. He married his grade school sweetheart Nancy at an early age and raised their family in Albuquerque. He spent most of his working years with The City of Albuquerque, in which he retired from. His passions in life were playing his guitar, which he was self taught, and spending time with his family. Roger will be remembered by his family for his frankness, grumpiness, work ethic, but most of all his dedication to his family and friends. Services will be conducted Friday, September 27th, 11:00am at Victory Outreach Church, 1404 Lead Ave., SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106.
