She spent many years as an elementary school teacher first, in OK, before she had her own children, and then for many years in Roswell, NM, once her children were going to college. She kept in touch with some of her students until her death. She was a consummate homemaker who loved to cook and entertain. She loved quilting and her quilts are the most prized possessions among her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved the Lord with all her heart and enjoyed many bible studies from Community Bible Fellowship in Roswell to She Ministries in Albuquerque. Louise and John were active in many churches throughout the southwest, including Waymaker Church in Roswell, Legacy Church and Calvary both of Albuquerque. Her Service will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013, 11:00 a.m., at FRENCH - Westside. Interment will follow at a later date. A visitation will take place at FRENCH - Westside on Friday, June 28, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan's Purse, P.O.
