CASARES, NICOLAS age 88, a resident of Albuquerque for over sixty years, born August 20, 1924, passed away on February 19, 2013. Mr. Casares is survived by his sons, Nick Casares Jr., and Fred Casares and wife, Nancy; two grandchildren, Elaina Casares, and Henry Casares; special friend of the family, Priscilla Martinez; nephews, Luther Garcia and wife, Karen, Larry Garcia and wife, Marcella, Reuben Prado and wife, Carolyn; sisters- in-law, Stella Garcia, Alvina Prado, Orelia Hughes, Delia Keating and husband, Louis; brothers-in-law, Cory Jaramillo and wife, Luvie, and Gabriel Jaramillo and wife, Monica; niece, Connie Sue Pinkerton-Lopez and husband, Hector; and many other extended family members. Mr. Casares was preceded in death by his wife, Domitilia. Mr. Casares was a Veteran of the United States Army serving in World War ll. Visitation will be Monday, February 25, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel with a Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m., Dr. David Atencio, presider. Committal Service will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. . Pallbearers will be Luther Garcia, Larry Garcia, Reuben Prado, Walter Jaramillo, Gabriel Jaramillo, Cory Jaramillo.
