SEVERINGHAUS, GILBERT H. 1927 - 2013 85 years old, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia; parents Gilbert and Bernadette Severinghaus; sister Marilyn Sweetland; and son Jeffrey Severinghaus. He is survived by brother Richard Severinghaus and wife Diane; sons Tom Severinghaus and wife Beverly, Daniel Severinghaus and wife Beverlee; and daughter-in-law Kathryn Severinghaus; grandchildren Haeja England, Thomas Nadeige, Rachael, Brian, Cassandra, Rebecca and Matthew Severinghaus; and great- grandson Keith Severinghaus. Gilbert was born in Chicago, Illinois and moved to Albuquerque in 1951. He served in WWII in the US Army and was a proud member of Plumbers and Pipefitters local union 412. Gilbert was owner and operator of Reliable Plumbing and Heating from 1970 - 1990. Mr. Severinghaus was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather whose life touched the hearts of everyone that knew him. He will be deeply missed by all.
