BEAUREGARD, PAULINE JEROME March 13, 1920 - January 10, 2013 Pauline was born 92 years ago in Cahokia, Illinois, the third of four daughters of Carl and Clementine Jerome. At 16 she married a graduate of Parks Air College, George A. Beauregard. Pauline passed peacefully after a long and good life. She had five daughters and one son, Cherie Crowe, Gaie Gegg, Annette Kunkel, Medford Beauregard, Jolie Kunkel and Denise Paltz. She was especially proud of her 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Pauline was ordained a Unity Minister in 1977. She served as Associate Minister at Christ Church Unity San Diego and founded new Unity churches in both Carlsbad and Alpine, CA. She settled in Albuquerque in 1992. Her most favorite activity of the last 20 years was working as a docent at the Albuquerque Zoo. Pauline traveled to many far off places but Australia was, by far, her favorite destination. In 2010 she moved to an assisted living facility in North Carolina. Her companions there remember her as someone who always dressed to the nines in "any color as long as it's pink". A Celebration of Life will be held on February 23, 2013 at 11:00am at Unity Church of El Cajon, 311 Highland Ave, El Cajon, CA (619-579-9586), reception immediately following in church hall. In lieu of flowers, her family suggests donations to Unity Village (Lee's Summit, MO) or The Nature Conservancy.
