COOLEY -- TIM Age 62, passed away August 2, 2012 after a long illness. Tim lived in Albuquerque, NM the past 32 years, where he worked for Sandia Research Laboratories as a Systems Engineer. Tim was born on April 22, 1950 in Kansas City, MO and grew up in Cooley Highlands. He was a graduate of William Jewel College in Liberty, MO with a Bachelors Degree in Physics; and received his Masters in Nuclear Engineering from University of Missouri, in Columbia. In addition to his parents Herbert and Ruby Cooley; Tim was preceded in death by his three brothers Dan, Dick and Donald Lee; and his nephew Darren Bouckhout. He is survived by his sister , Patsy Cooley Bouckhout, of Overland Park, KS; nieces and nephews include Vicki Bouckhout Fletcher of Overland Park, KS; Alicia Bouckhout Cunningham of Olathe, KS; Todd Cooley of Overland Park, KS; Sara James of San Antonio, TX; Herbert W. Cooley of Midland, TX and Susan Ludwick of Eudora, KS. Tim had great nieces and nephews that adored him and loved to hear he was coming to visit so they could watch scary movies together. He was always a kid at heart even though he had a brilliant mind. He encouraged all his family to get a good education and live a sensible honest life. A visitation will be held for friends and family on Tuesday, August 14, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 Northeast Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO. Services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 10:00am at Avondale Methodist Church, 3101 Northeast Winn Rd, Kansas City, MO. Burial will be at the Blaine Cemetary in Orrick, MO. Pallbearers will be Lowell Fletcher, Wesley Fletcher, Brandon Fletcher, Kyle Leverett, Steven Cunningham, Todd Cooley, Herbert W.Cooley, and Damon Bouckhout.
