REES -- LINDA MONICA died Sunday, June 17, after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was 60. She is survived by her only child from her first marriage, Ailene Yasmin Torres of St. Thomas, USVI; her second husband Ronald L. Rees of Rio Rancho. Visitation will be held at Daniels Funeral Home at 1100 Coal Avenue on Sunday, June 24, 2012 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. There will be a viewing before the funeral beginning at 10:00 a.m. service to start at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 25 at Phillips Chapel, CME Church, 1401 Edith Blvd. S.E.
