FULLER -- RICHARD A. "DICK" Age 86, died on June 11, 2012 after fighting a long battle with cancer. During his final hours, his wife, Edie, daughter, Jillian, grandson, Evan, and his loving nurse, Konnie Gonzales, were by his side. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Maren. He is survived by his second wife, Edie. Dick is also survived by a daughter, Jillian Maresco; two grandchildren, Evan and Dallyn Maresco; and a step-daughter, Elizabeth Gould. Also surviving is a brother, John Fuller and his wife, Joanne, of Midland, Michigan. Dick graduated from Oxford High School, Oxford, MI and Michigan State University. Dick served in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946., He then served in the Army Reserves for 28 years, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. Dick also served with the New Mexico Defense Force and acted as a commander of the units in the Albuquerque area. For this service he was awarded the rank of honorary Major General. Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held at the Rio Rancho Presbyterian Church located at 1004 24th Street at 3:00 p.m. on June 23, 2012. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Presbyterian Church.
