Other survivors include step-children Martin Schnoor and wife Janet, Chris Shatz, Terri McGinn & husband Hugh, Jeff Schnoor, Anne Stewart; and step-grandchildren Joshua Schnoor, Katie Guerrero, Sophia Schnoor, Emily Schnoor, and Mark Vito. Mama was a committed, lifelong Christian who loved Jesus with all of her heart, all of her soul, and all of her precious spirit. She sang praises to the Lord often, and approached every difficulty, challenge and adversity she was ever challenged with during her life, with an attitude of thankfulness for each day, acceptance of her circumstances while always acknowledging that many others had it much worse, hope for a better day tomorrow, and complete assurance that one day she would be welcomed into Jesus' loving arms, to dwell with Him forever and ever. She loved each and all of us more than we could possibly know. Our lives were all greatly and profoundly enriched and have been made all the better by her unconditional love, selflessness and extreme generosity. These were but just a few of the many extraordinary and precious gifts that she imparted to anyone whose lives intersected with hers. Last but not least, was the love that Mama ALWAYS had for all animals. She loved her doggies, especially Barney, and her loyal buddy and constant companion, Bobo!! "You fought the good fight, you finished the race, and you have kept the faith". "Well done thou good and faithful servant". A celebration of her life is being planned. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Animal Humane of NM, at 615 Virginia NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87108, or www.animalhumanenm.org.
