COMBS -- GWENDOLYN RUTH AKA Grandma Gwen, age 80, was embraced by our Lord on April 30, 2012 in Albuquerque, NM. Born on August 14, 1931 in California, Gwen grew up to meet and marry the love of her life, Howard, in 1956. Gwen had two children, Larry and Butch. Gwen was predeceased by her husband, parents, and son Larry. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law; grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; family and friends. Gwen was a great lover of the outdoors, including fishing and camping. She was an avid seamstress, gardener, and cat lover. Her ultimate love was her family and adopted family. Gwen will be forever loved and missed. Thank you to all those who brought joy, kindness, and laughter into Gwen's life. She will be most remembered for her true love of family, her kindness, and her ability to give and love all those who entered her life. Private arrangements have been made for the memorial service.
