LOGAN -- SUE M. Age 84,of Albuquerque, passed away surrounded by her loving family on April 13, 2012. Sue was born on May 14, 1927 to John and Eleanor Milliken in Folsom, N.M., where she grew up on a cattle ranch before moving with her family to Dalhart, Tx., where she graduated high school and received a one-year scholarship to West Texas State College. She moved to Albuquerque, where she met John Logan. They were wed on June 10, 1948, moved briefly to Council Bluffs, Neb. and then returned to Albuquerque, where they raised three sons, Gregory, Kenneth and Patrick. Sue was a homemaker who worked as hard at that job as John did at Sandia Corporation. She was admired for her expert cooking, her spotless home and her total, loving commitment to her family. She won N.M. State Fair blue ribbons for her afghans, and she enjoyed many happy times with her ladies golf group at Arroyo del Oso. Following the loss of her husband on Aug. 21, 2007 after 59 years of marriage, she was fortunate to be cared for by her son Patrick and her sister Anna Swanson. The family also wishes to thank Kathy Enquist of Premier Home Healthcare, Presbyterian Hospital, Las Palomas Care and Rehabilitation Center and Ambercare Hospice. In addition to her three sons and sister Anna, Sue is survived by sister Mary Jane Holub of Georgetown, TX, and five granddaughters, Dana, Kerry, Lauren, April and Holly. Family and friends may visit from 4-6 p.m., Tuesday, April 17 at Riverside Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday April 18 at Emanuel Presbyterian Church with burial to follow at noon at Fairlawn Cemetary.
