HASEY -- DOROTHY April 20, 1930- April 15, 2007 Hi Mom, GOD made a wonderful mother, A mother who never grows old; He made her smile of the sunshine, And He molded her heart of pure gold; In her eyes He placed bright shining stars, In her cheeks, fair roses you see; God made a wonderful mother, And He gave that dear mother to me. My, my how five years went by. Five years, to the very same day. You said it would get better in two to three years, it did not.....it, took a lot longer. I now have a very clear understanding, that it will never, ever be the same. So much has happened in the last five years. I know that I will always miss talking to you, especially sharing the proud moments. It used to be comforting, knowing you were home when I got there and shopping at the mall, is simply a huge, sad chore. My faith that you instilled in me, is stronger than ever. Paul, Matt and my dearest friends and family..have helped the most. I wish I could share with you the way Matt has grown, he is tall, handsome, polite, and has a very dry sense of humor. Not the eight year old that watched Cats and Dogs with you - although, he would sit down this very day and watch that with you again and again. My thoughts drift to you daily, with a wistful smile and a thought I wish I could share this with Mom..but, I am guessing, you already know.
