FIGNER -- BARBARA ANN BURGESS Age 76, passed away Monday April 2nd, 2012 surrounded by family. She was born October 6, 1935 in Des Moines, Iowa to Willis and Helen Burgess. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Kay Mathews and husband David G. Mathews; grandchildren J.D. Mathews and Heather Mathews. Babs graduated from East High School in Denver and the University of Colorado in Boulder. Soon after she was married and lived in Pasadena, CA and Chicago, IL. After her divorce she came to New Mexico to be closer to her sister and family. She worked for Albuquerque Federal Savings and Loan in the Statesmen's Club. Her family and friends meant the world to her and she will be missed by all who knew her. Services will be held on Saturday, April 28th at 2:00 P.M., French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE.
