GUTIERREZ -- RUDY was born June 28, 1934 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the age of 77. Rudy was an active member of St. Anne Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting and being outdoors, as well as horse racing and watching television. He also loved to "eat". Rudy was preceded in death by his father, Juan Gutierrez; by his mother, Pauline Gutierrez; his two sons, Henry Gutierrez and Frank Gutierrez; and by his daughter, Patsy Gutierrez. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Gutierrez; three sons, Rudy and wife Diane, Donald and wife Dorothy, and Thomas and wife Denise; three brothers; three sisters; eight grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends who love and will miss him. Services will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 1400 Arenal Rd SW, on Monday, April 2, 2012. A Rosary will be recited at 8:15 am. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 am with the burial following at San Jose de Armijo Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Gutierrez, Thomas Gutierrez Jr., Rudy Gutierrez Jr., Rudy Eddie Gutierrez, Gilbert Benavidez and Joseph Martinez. The Honorary pallbearer will be Orlando Gutierrez.
