NEFF -- HARRY R. Age 84, a long-time resident of Albuquerque, died Monday, February 13th, 2012. Harry is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia (Pat); and his eight children, Thomas Neff and wife Dr. Martina Hum of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Maggie Doyle of Albuquerque, Paula Neff, Therese Neff, Dennis Neff, of Albuquerque, Kathleen Caldwell and husband Raymond of Albuquerque, Timothy Neff and wife Debra of Scottsdale, AZ and Elizabeth Neff of Albuquerque; 13 grandchildren, Ana, Caroline and Brian Neff, Rose and Arlo Doyle, Harrison Neff, Kori, Clark, Makenzie, Tyler and Bree Neff, Emily and Rachel Mapes; ten great-grandchildren; and one brother, John Neff and his wife Pat of Saint Mary's, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Josiah V. and Edna V. Neff of Fort Scott, KS. Harry's career spanned 64 years as a Managing General Agent for Transamerica Life Insurance Company. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He will be best remembered for his terrific sense of humor. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Mass will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, Friday, February 17, 2012, at 10:00 a.m. A family burial will take place this spring in Fort Scott, KS at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in the Neff family plot.
