GRIFFIN -- JAMES "JIM" Born on August 24, 1939 in New Mexico, went to be with the Lord Sunday, January 29, 2012. Jim was a loving, dedicated, family man, always putting others before himself. He was a man of great honor and integrity. A social butterfly, making friends everywhere he went, and making people laugh was his daily goal. He was well known by his creation of "The Tinman", loved fishing, and his dog "Baby". Jim was preceded in death by parents Clarence and Agnes Griffin; brother Clarence C Griffin Jr.; daughter Annette Murray; and son Michael Murray. He is survived by his wife Charlotte Griffin; three daughters, Nancy Arp, Cynthia Murray, Linda Dominguez; son-in-law William Dominguez; brothers Robert Griffin, Albert Griffin and wife Kay, Patrick Griffin and wife Debbie; sisters Katherine Fayle and husband Raymond, Mary Agnes Hogland, and Teresa Griffin; grandchildren, Sugar, Steven, David, Angel Baby, Butch (wife Penny), Jennifer, Trish; and great-grandchildren, Lil' Feller, Lil' Princess; and a host of other great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His Celebration of Life and reception will be at Legacy Church (the Switch bldg), 7201 Central Ave NW, at 11:00 am on February 4, 2012.
