HOFHEINS -- SETH HAROLD Age 92, a life-long New Mexico resident, died Thursday, January 5, 2012. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mareth C. Hofheins of Albuquerque, NM; several nieces and nephews, as well as grand-nieces and nephews; and many friends. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Seth Timothy and Attelia Agnes Hofheins; two brothers; and two sisters. He was born in Albuquerque January 2, 1920 and grew up at La Cueva, above Jemez Springs. He graduated from Lourdes Seminary and Trade School in 1940. Harold then proudly served four years in the United States Navy during WW II. After the war Harold returned to La Cueva, where he joined his family in the lumber business. While taking a bookkeeping class at Browning Commercial School, he met his loving wife and they were married on December 15, 1956. He was once named Commander of American Legion Post 075 in Jemez Springs and a member of the VFW. Harold worked as a broker for Red Carpet Realty for some time. He was a loving husband and uncle and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rosary will be recited at Sangre de Christo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria, Rd. NE on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be his nephews.
