TRACE -- RAYMOND GEORGE Age 65, passed away on Dec 8, 2011 in Dallas, TX after an extended illness. Ray was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, attended Long Island University, and served his country in the US Army. He married Margaret Mary McNamara, who lived around the corner in Rockaway Point, NY. They moved to Albuquerque in 1973, where he earned a Masters degree in Communicative Disorders at UNM, and worked as a Speech Pathologist for APS for many years. He retired from APS in 2003. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond L. in 1974. He is survived by his mother, Ellen; his wife of 39 yrs, Margaret; children, Andrew (Mary), Colin (Isabelle), all of Albuquerque, Maureen (Paul) Hopkins, and grandson, Jack of San Antonio, TX; sister, Ellen (Richard) Menor; nephew, Bryan Menor and his family. Ray was a wonderful and generous son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, uncle, neighbor and friend. He will be greatly missed by many. Cremation has taken place in Dallas. Celebration of Ray's life will take place in the Reflection of Life Chapel (Washington and Cutler NE) Tuesday, Jan 3, 2012 from 6:00-9:00 pm. Mass of a Christian Burial will be held on Jan 4, 2012 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 4020 Lomas Blvd NE followed with burial at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 pm.
