GANDER -- DOROTHY A. age 82, a resident of Albuquerque, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, John E. Gander; daughters, Sharon Gander of Kansas City, MO, Peggy Gander of Bozeman, MT, Linda Baker of Lake Oswego, OR; sisters, Betty Lou Hoffman, Barbara Erickson and husband, Bill; grandsons, Jesse and Jay Schaplow; granddaughters, Danielle Baker Potter and Corinna Baker; great-grandson, Xander Potter. Mrs. Gander was preceded in death by her parents Edward Albert and Fern Marie "Peg" Hoffman. She was a member of Sandia Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque where memorial services will be held on January 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Floral tributes will be accepted for the memorial service or memorial donations may be made to donors' local library in honor of Dorothy's love of reading.
