ORTIZ -- HENRY 64, of Pena Blanca, NM Beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother was called by the Lord on December 24, 2011. He was born on May 19, 1947 to Alberto and Lisaida Ortiz. Henry was preceded in death by his father, Alberto; sons, Albert and Dale; grandson, Brian; sister, Ada Bergh; brothers in law, Richard Lee, Terry, and David Montoya. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine; daughters, Janice and Lori (Anthony); grandsons, Gerald and Albert; mother, Lisaida; sister, Rosemary (Joe Roybal); brothers Albert, Bobby (Joann), Steven (Jeanie); two aunts and one uncle; sisters in law and their husbands, many nieces, nephews and cousins. Henry's passions in life were playing his guitar and piano, his 1962 Chevy Impala, following politics and his dog Charlie. He had many great friends that he enjoyed spending time with. Henry was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Pena Blanca, NM. Pallbearers will be Joe Valdez Sr., Joe Roybal Jr., Robert Mora, Jimmy Armijo, Alfred Garcia, and Michael Segura. Honorary Pallbearers are Frank Bransford, Arthur Mares, Alex Lovato, Michael Garcia, Ray Medina, Gilbert Martinez Jr., Benny Herrera, Ruben Velasquez Sr., Robert Ortiz Jr., Abram Valdez, Eddie Ortiz and Henry Dominguez. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am on Thursday December 29, 2011 At Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 814 Highway 22, Pena Blanca, NM. Visitation with the family will be Thursday starting at 8:30am with the rosary being recited at 10:00am at the church.
