NUNNERY -- PANSY "PATSY" ALLRED Age 89, of New Braunfels, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 30, 2011. She was born May 12, 1922, in Henderson County, TX. Her parents were the late Charles Alfred Allred and Bonnie Louise (Davis) Allred of east Texas. Her husband was David Chalmers Nunnery, whom she married on Jan 10, 1942. Throughout her life she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In her later years, she was an avid reader of news and novels and enjoyed family gatherings, crocheting, cooking, gardening, music, bible study, and church/social events. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jimmie Dale Nunnery and her siblings, Virgil C. Allred, Charles Q. Allred, Cyril E. "Sonny" Allred, Leland A."Dick" Allred, Bonnie Kathleen "Kit" Leader, and Ruth V. Hale. She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Louise (Nunnery) Clausen and husband Tom of Cibolo, TX; three sons, David W. Nunnery and wife Betty of Leander, TX, Gerald D. (Jerry) Nunnery and wife Karen of Center Point, TX, and Wilson E. (Gene) Nunnery and wife Antoinette of St. Francisville, LA; seven grandchildren, Kristine Schlottman (husband Todd), Michelle Warren (husband Kevin), Greg Nunnery, and Michael Nunnery (wife Jessica), all of Austin, TX, Shannon Sperry (husband Jason) of Phoenix, AZ, Miranda Nunnery and Sarah Nunnery of St. Francisville, LA; eight great-grandchildren, Riley, Jared and Caleb Schlottman; Aidan, Ava, and Zane Warren; and Grant and Grace Nunnery of Austin, TX. Memorial services will be held at Eastside Baptist Church, 983 Holly Street, New Braunfels, TX on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 11:00 am officiated by Pastor Wilburn Taylor. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Eastside Baptist Church or The American Heart Association.
