CHAVEZ -- ANSELMO JR. On November 16, 2011, Anselmo was called home by our Lord Jesus Christ. He passed away at home after a lengthy illness. He wished to be cremated. He is survived by his wife Josie; by his daughter, Eloisa and Rose; granddaughter Heather and Rudy; great-granddaughter Margarita Angelica; sisters Connie and husband Tony, and Juanita; brother Henry and wife Viola; many nieces and nephews; best friends Joe and Susie Lucero, Kipper and Honey. He was preceeded in death by his parents Anselmo Chavez Sr. and Catalina Chavez; brothers Apolonio, Francisco, and Jose; sisters Casimira and Angelita. Services will be held at Riverside Funeral home, 225 San Mateo NE, on Monday, November 21, 2011 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
