HILLERY -- GEORGIA ANNETTE Georgia Annette Hillery, 90, of McIntosh, NM passed away November 7, 2011. She was born November 21, 1920 in Alameda, CA to Nettie and Col. C.A. "Phil" Phillips. Georgia and her husband Daren, who recently celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary, have been residents of McIntosh for 27 years. Georgia was preceded in death by her sister Norma Radcliffe. She is survived by her husband Daren Hillery; her sister Louise Warden; her children Richard Hillery, Kathy Curfman, Bob Hillery, Jeff Hillery, Liz Krueger; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Georgia's greatest joy was in being an inspirational mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her smile and warm personality were infectious. In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warrior Project, woundedwarriorproject.org or a charity of choice. A Viewing will take place Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011 from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Both services will be at French Mortuary, 1111 University Blvd NE. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m.
