FLORES -- GLORIA BERNADETTE 73, went to paradise with Our Father on October 4, 2011. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. She joked and smiled until she took her journey. She was preceded in death by her husband Virgilio Flores; parents Candelario and Josephine Romero; her brother Arnold Romero; and beloved sons Kenneth and Ronald Dominguez. She was so precious and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Gloria Bernadette Flores was born on April 18, 1938 in Bernalillo, New Mexico. She was one of two children born to Candelario and Josephine Romero. She moved to Albuquerque as a young child with her loving family. Gloria loved to be surrounded by her family and friends. She touched the lives of many with her smile and sense of humor. She is survived by her three children Antoinette and her husband Ramon Flores, Karen and her husband Dave Borillo and George Flores; She left behind ten grandchildren, Angie Lucero, Ronald Dominguez Jr., Andrew Dominguez, Gloria Flores, Kenneth Martinez, Linda Duran, Christopher Flores, Valerie Corral, Reina Flores, and Alicia Borillo; 12 great-grand children; many nieces, nephews and friends, who adopted her as their mother or grandmother. The rosary will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 10:15 a.m., with a Catholic mass to immediately follow at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary 5415 Fortuna, NW Albuquerque, NM 87105. Please join us in celebrating "Big Grandma's" life in the parish hall immediately after services. Our family would like to extend a very special thank you to Gloria Flores, who took care of her precious Grandmother on a daily basis. Also a thank you to everyone who prayed with us and for us, we appreciate you all.
