DANIEL -- HENRY C. Age 96, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Born April 10, 1915 in Georgia, he had been a longtime resident of Albuquerque. Henry graduated from UNM with a degree in administration. He was an active member of Albuquerque First Baptist Church and for many years he was a children's Sunday school teacher. Henry was also a member of the Balut Abyad Shrine. since 1944 and 32 degree Mason and past Grand Master. At the time of his death he was active in the Legion of Honor, well known through out the Southwest for their flag pageants, and flag building ceremonies done in complete costume, telling the story of the American flag as told through the eyes of the flag. Henry is survived by his wife of 67 years Emma Dale; daughter, Jan Petersen of La Grande, OR; grandchildren, Robert Beiermeister and Shawna Busbee; great -grandchildren, Starla and Tyler; great-great-granddaughter, Alexa all of Albuquerque, NM. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, October 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m., at the Masonic Lodge, 3801 Osuna NE.
