ASHMAN -- ELIZABETH (BETTY) HOLDEN Age 82, passed away on October 2, 2011. Betty served as a nurse during WWII in England, and after moving to the States to marry Bob, continued her career in Albuquerque as a pediatric nurse. Betty is survived by son Rob, his wife Nancy, their children, Kelly and Stephen Smith, Valerie and David Gorm, and great-granddaughter, Addison. She is also survived by son Mark, his wife Amy, their children Leigh Ashman, Peter and Miranda Ashman. Betty is also survived by her siblings, Jean Brown, Eric Holden and wife June, Queenie Jaynes and Nancy Ashthorpe. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., on Saturday, November 5, 2011, at Glory Christian Fellowship, 2417 Wyoming Blvd NE. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Hospice and Palliative Care of Western Colorado, 3090 B North 12th St., Grand Junction, CO, 81506.
