BROWNING -- JAMES "JIM" James "Jim" Browning passed away in his Albuquerque home, Monday August 15, 2011. Jim was born March 31, 1955 at Kirkland Air Force Base in Albuquerque to Evelyn Rawls and Bertram Browning. Jim earned various safety awards through working at the University of New Mexico. Jim worked at the University of New Mexico in the Grounds and Landscaping department. Jim enjoyed many different things such as eating at Arby's, going to the balloon fiesta, riding his bike, going to church, taking walks and watching old musicals. Jim is survived by his daughter, Debbie Browning; his son, James Browning; his wife, Dion Browning; his grandchild, Bailey; his stepson, Shelby Miller; his oldest brother, Paul Browning; his step brother, Earl Browning; his cousins, Janet Schissler, Julie Flint and Jean Brukhead; his father, Bertram Browning and his wife Cynthia Browning. Jim also is leaving behind his beloved white cat "Little Buddy" who he truly loved. Jim will be buried and placed in the family cemetery at Fairview Memorial Park on September 6, 2011 at 10:00am.
