LOVATO -- BERTHA RUTH "BERTIE" A lifelong resident of San Ysidro, NM, was born September 25, 1939. She passed away Thursday, August 11, 2011, at the age of 71, with her loving family at her side. Bertie was a member of San Ysidro Catholic Church. She was cherished by her beloved family and she will be greatly missed. Bertie was preceded in death by her husband, Albert T. Lovato. She is survived by her children: daughters, Irene Aragon and husband Johnny, Lydia Garcia and husband Donald, Donna Gutierrez and husband Rick and Ruby Lovato; sons, Jesse Lovato and Tim Lovato; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at San Ysidro Catholic Church in San Ysidro, NM. A Rosary will be recited on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 7:00 pm, with a viewing beginning at 6:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 13, 2011 and the time will be announced at the Rosary. Burial will follow at San Ysidro Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Donald Garcia, Johnny Aragon, Rick Gutierrez, Martin Lovato, Raymond Gonzales and Felipe Maestas.
