THOMPSON -- NORMA JEAN Age 81, a resident of Albuquerque since 1970, passed away on Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at her home. She was born in Avoca, Iowa on July 6, 1930. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Erva Jackson, and her brother Howard "Bud" Jackson. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Glenn B. Thompson; sister Marilyn Henry of Aiken, SC; sister-in-law Alicia Jackson of Cedar Rapids, IA; brother-in-law Harold Thompson of Omaha, NE; brother-in-law Dean Thompson and wife Patricia of Omaha, NE; daughter Laura Fezouati and husband Mike of St. Louis, MO; son Gary S. Thompson of Albuquerque; son David Thompson and wife Stephanie of Albuquerque; daughter Diane Kelly and husband Skip of Rio Rancho; her grandchildren Allison and Kyle Kelly, Ryan, Bradley, and Zachary Thompson, Danielle Fezouati; and her great-granddaughter Hailey Lay. Norma donated her body to the UNM School of Medicine. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, August 1, 2011, 2:00 pm at The Albuquerque Meadows Club House, 7112 Pan American NE, 87109. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norma's name will be accepted for charitable work by The Albuquerque Meadows Residence Association at the above address.
