ROMERO -- JOHN MARTIN Was born in Albuquerque, NM, July 24, 1945. He passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at the age of 66. John graduated from Albuquerque High School in 1963 and attended the University of New Mexico, graduating in 1971. He worked for the United States Postal Service, Social Security, OPM, and USIS. John will be remembered for his love of his family and how he thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his parents, Hilario and Mary Romero and by his brother, Larry Romero. He is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Frances Romero; two children, Paula and John Jr; sister, Phyllis; brother, Polidor and wife Sandy; three grandchildren, Krishauna, Marisa and Jenae; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends who loved and will miss him. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE., Friday, August 5, 2011 at 9:30 am.
